At the Taberna de la Daniela, you will find the authentic flavors of the Madrilenian cuisine and the ambience of the old Madrilenian tabernas. Our speciality is cocido madrileño, a traditional madrilenian stew. One of the most tipical dishes to eat during winter in Madrid, cocido is a chickpea-based stew, prepared with vegetables and a variety of meats. Though cocido is our specialty, the Daniela we also serve a great variety of “raciones” and “canapes”, including our tortilla de patatas, made while you wait and one of the best in town according to locals, calamares, croquettes with Iberian ham, and much more.
The secret of the Danielas lies in the ingredients. All of our dishes are elaborated with high quality ingredients: chickpeas from Fuentesauco, Morcilla from Burgos, fresh vegetables, etc.
